I had mine EZ-3 HD USX Trike for a week now. And it is the best bike that I ever own. I have two othere bikes and now I am going to sell them both. I am looking foward on riding more this summer.
This is a great bike. I have had mine for about 8 months, and it is a riot. Manufacturer says not to motorize it, but I have installed a hub motor on the front (750 watt), with dual 48 volt lithium ion batteries on the front wheel. What a riot! It actually improved steering. Before I put the electric drive on, you didn't dare let go of the steering . . . it would immediately pull extreme left or right, but now with the motor on there, it gives it a gyroscopic effect, whether you are using the motor or not, and it tracks straight, and if I put the motor in cruise control, I can actually release the steering, and it tracks straight on its own. I love this bike. I now have a cargo trailer on it, and I do grocery shopping or anything else i wish to do. It is my main transportation back and forth to work and around town. These trikes need some getting use to on hills, . . your weight is no longer over the peddles, but after 6 to 8 weeks, your legs strengthen up, and I have no need to go out of high gear now. I will be adding a solar cell canopy on the bike, and a solar panel on the trailer to help recharge batteries while on trips. When you're tired of sore butts, necks and hands from riding a conventional two wheeler, you'll want to hop on this trike and let the fun begin!
The HD is easy to ride in comfort: use a camelbag off the back of the seat for water, and carry needed items on the trail. Use a helmet/hat third eye. Light is easy to clamp to the handgrips with rear light on back of seat. If you are over 6' get pedal extentors and use power grips to keep your feet on the pedals. Great for someone over 300Lbs, already dropped several inches.
